Kolej TAFE Seremban (KTS) was established in 1998 by Maju Institute of Educational Development (M.I.E.D), the education arm of the Malaysian Indian Congress(MIC), with the aim of providing affordable high quality technical and professional education for Malaysian and foreign students. A multi-million ringgit technical institution, KTS is situated on a 10-acre site approximately 60 kilometres south Kuala Lumpur.

The college has produced about 35,000 skilled and knowledgeable graduates who are all pursuing successful careers in business and industry.

Stamford College celebrates its 57th Anniversary in the year 2007 as one of the largest and most respected private education groups in Asia.

It has evolved from a small institute into a multi-disciplinary college in the model of a modern university with six campuses in six Malaysian cities.
